    Hi guys,

Has anyone mounted an extinguisher in their 348 using this type of band? After you insert your 2.5lbs Halotron (for argument's sake) this band attaches into a small rectangle that you screw into the car.

I really like the way it would look. However, I have no idea where is a good or recommended place to screw the holding plate/mount in. I'd say the holes in the holding plate are about 4"x2" apart in corners.

Anyone with experience on this please chime in.

    Thanks very much!

I'm just about ready to mount my halon extinguisher in my F355 Mike. I think I've narrowed down the site to the firewall between the driver's side door and the seat. Seems like an out-of-the-way location, yet very handy for retrieval when exiting the car in a hurry. I'm not sure if the 348 cabin is laid out the same way. At this point the only thing holding me back is the uncertainty of what I would be drilling into (fuel tank) for the mounting hardware. I may wait until our SoCal Stoogefest in April to get some guidance from Tim/Bruce. They've had their cars apart numerous times and know them inside and out. Anyway, might be apples and oranges, but I thought I'd offer it up nonetheless. Good luck.

    Henry,

I'm at the same spot as you. I just need to know what is behind
the space. I don't want to insert the screw so short that the bracket
    is almost loose.
