Haha, sorry. They are modern day acceleration recording devices. they can record many different performance parameters. Looking for some older roadtests to compare with what I achieved and was wondering if anyone here had tested their cars as well.

Working on video now. But I left very easy off the line, basically just off idle like you would do at any traffic light, then floored it. Clutch take up in the Testarossa is rather slow, so 0-60 times are much worse than when the magazines would road test their cars with a clutch drop. This was the first time Ive ever tried this in the Testarossa, and I tried it twice. The car is stock with just an exhaust, 1/2 tank of gas, spare, tool kits etc. Also made sure the slope was well within the allowed 2% . Not bad for an almost 30 year old car. Now I want to compare it with my Countach.

All those magazine tests were performed by dropping the clutch.
But I believe numbers with roll start are valid too.
If I ever change the differential and shaft of my car I will measure mine, in the meantime I will keep launching it VERY gentle

This wasnt rolling start. It was dead stop, clock starts as soon as car moves.Just like dragstrip or magazine tests. In fact most magazines today use the Vbox. They also correct their times. I didnt drop the clutch though, thats why 0-60 so slow.

I wont drop the clutch on mine either. Always gentle.

I know they were dead stop ones, what I meant is some magazines did roll start too.

Yes, I think some magazines would record a 5-60 time as well, calling it a street start.

Yes, it does. At the end of the video I posted the Dragy results. 0-60 in 6.2, and 1/4 mile in 13.98@106
