then, I think there is white Scuderia as well in Saudi. seriously there is no much people over there appreciate that car, mostly consider it as regular F430 thanks for post Tariq
A pleasure . I think you could be right. I have been over a week in a couple of Gulf countries and haven't seen a single Scuderia on the streets, only F430s.
Oh snap! Didn't know that. I guess we don't get "gulf spec" cars here in Lebanon. Nobody here has reflectors on their front bumpers. Sorry to hear that buddy. I'm not a big fan of those reflectors at all The white Scud still looks insane though
That explains why on the Service Manual in my Scuderia it says worldwide warranty EXCLUDING USA. (And my Scuderia is Mid East spec)
That changed a while back. I worked within the Euro dealer network for quite a few years, they do claim for labour under warranty from the factory, but the rate is dissmal. This rate is decided by the Factory, and very rarely covers even a fraction of the cost. Here's a typical example:I've spent almost a day finding an electrical fault on a 430,removing trims, checking pins, etc, etc,did the warranty "red on line" and then the company only got 0.50 (half hours labour) for fixing a broken wire. Your better off being a specialist nowadays.....
No need to import one. There's a brand new black Scud sitting on the floor at Ferrai of Washington for sale. Just arrived by air freight.
You guys had a F430 Spider from the middle east. The silver one with all red interior. The only problem with buying a car from the middle east will be registering it in the States.....good luck!!
As far as my experience holds: Ferrari's for the Middle East are Gulf Spec which is close to the US Spec but not similar (as already mentioned before). You will have NO Ferrari guarantee at all on this vehicle. The explanation for the different spec's in UAE is simple: Many cars are EU imports (3 out of 4 of my last Ferraris went to the Middle East) My educated advise: Buy a US car in the US and enjoy the money and time you have saved by driving it until it falls apart. Thanks for sharing Tarek! Best wishes to the UAE! Tob
to add to that you can also buy an immaculate CS for $130K in the UK from an official Ferrari dealer thanks to the currency depreciation, buy now while your toilet paper $ still have some value .....
I took that specific Scuderia for a spin yesterday evening...........that's the same dealer where I bought my first F430. My F450 will be white with a light grey alcantara interior with red stitching .
I'll take a white one...! Hell, I'll take it in any color...! Purple with brown stripes and pink polka dots; green with orange stripes and yellow polka dots and a metallic pink diffuser - I don't care...! As long as the engine, transmission and suspension are in working order.
