Anyone want to see a Concert?

    As some of you may have known before, Im touring Europe with an orchestra from out here in Southern California...The orchestra is composed of the best young musicians in the states and Im proud to be the Principal Bassist! I leave California on Tuesday and will be performing in Italy and Austria. If any Fchatters have any free time these next few weeks I would love for you all to attend! Here are some of the the concert dates, times, and cities:

    Thursday June 24, Rome:
    9:30pm at the Villa Pamphili Festival

    Sunday June 27, Florence:
    9:00pm at the Fiesole Cathedral

    Tuesday June 29, Venice:
    9:00pm at the Basilica dei Frari

    Thursday July 1, Salzburg
    8:30pm at the University Church

    Sunday July 4, Vienna:
    3:30pm at the Orangerie

    We will be playing great music by all of the great European composers and do a little bit of American music too --that part Im not too excited about though :)

    If anyone wants to come just post a reply here and Ill try to get you some more information if you need it. If someone does end up coming, please say hi to me before or after the concert! I would love to meet some European Fchatters! I'll be the first chair bass player. Here is a picture of me for added reference :)

    thanks a lot for the invitation - wonderful!
    Are you gents also touring Germany?
    Italy is awesome beautiful but a bit too far away to see you performing.
    I would love to meet you during your German-tour.
    Please advice us, if there are any plans for:
    Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, U.K.....a.s.o.

    Have a great time, sold out halls and enjoy Europe.

    Unfortunately those concerts are it for this tour. I may be back in a few years though :)

    Im going to be in Frankfurt for about 5 hours at the airport while waiting to transfer planes but that will be the extent of my German vacation :)

    so you gents are just touring for Italy/Austria.
    Wonderful but a bit sad for us here;)

    But you have so many off-days -I`m curious about this?!
    Is this such a hard job, that you need 3 days off after a gig to prepare for the next show:D:D Sorry, just kidding and take the free time to see the wonderful Italy: Best food, drinks and girls of the whole world!;)

    Hi Jordan,
    Classical music is not my cup of tea and Austria/Italy a bit far to drop by and say hi, but thanks for the invitation anyway. Hope you'll enjoy your stay, you'll be touring great cities !

    Thanks for the invitation. Unfortunately I live too far from Italy. When you are touring in the area of Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands I will definitely come and listen.

    Sadly enough I have to reply in the same way as the others...
    I'm from Belgium, so a bit too far away for a quick visit and concert.
    However, enjoy your stay in Europe... I wish you a very succesful tour.

    Thanks everybody, no worries though. This will NOT be my last trip to Europe for sure! I have many plans to come back! Problem with going to Europe with an orchestra is that I wont be able to really choose where I want to go --no stop in Maranello :( So, maybe next summer I will come back on my own trip to visit you all!

    Cant tell you how excited I am about going! Been a dream to make it to Europe for a long time!!

    thanx for the invitation. at my side there is a small chance that i might drop by in salzburg, but this is really only a small chance. however, i'll let you know, when it would work out. i hope you're online between your concerts.
    in any case i wish you a wonderful trip and great success!

    Unfortunately I doubt I will have internet access while Im gone. If you do get a chance to go, just come up twoards the stage at the end of the concert. I will hang around for a few minutes just incase! Hope to see you there if you can make it!

    Well just got back from Europe. I LOVED it!!! Im coming back every summer!!!

    Ill post a full story with lots of pictures in off topic sometime tomorrow after I get over my jet lag :)
