I'd like to get a factory tour when I'm in the UK in September, but the email response I got to my inquiry basically said "no way, too many requests".

I told them I'm planning on buying a V8V after the first of the year, but no dice.

    Any suggestions?

Make contact with your local dealer, and with a good relationship they should help you.

When we went last month they said almost half of the people who buy a new Aston do the factory visit. That keeps them very busy. A firm order should make it a little easier. Very cool place, btw. It's an assembly plant, basically, so it's quiet and clean and the sight of 150 V8s and DB9s in one place is very, very cool. Try to score some passes to the Heritage Centre Museum next door too. About 200 British vehicles from every era.

    I should go.
I will be getting the first V8 with a paddle shifter for '08. Already designed. I can't wait. Deferred gratifycation.
If anyone wants a 2002 BMW M3, with low miles, it will be available after I get the AM.
