    Hey y'all,
    Anybody have and connections at Minute Maid Park? I'm coming to town for the weekend of June 10 for my wife's birthday and to catch 3 of the 4 (Filthy,Stinking) Braves/Astros games. I'd really like to surprise her by getting a Happy B'day message up on the scoreboard, but have absolutely NO idea of the who's/what's/where's involved. Also, how does one get Diamond club seats? I already have pretty good seats, but kicking back with GHW Bush behind home plate tossing back a few beers doesn't sound too bad either! ;)

    Diamond Club seat are not anything exclusive. They are just hard to find cause there's not many seats. You just have to find someone willing to part with them and be ready to fork out some $$$. If you called around some Houston ticket brokers you may be able to track down a pair. They won't be cheap if you do find some.

    Yeah, I figured they'd be beaucoup $$$$. They aren't even listed on the ticket website. And I don't know the "secret handshake" ;). Still, might be cool to get for a 3 game homestand.

    you simply need to call the astros and request to speak to someone in the promotions/marketing department. they do it all the time and i don't believe their are any cost associated with it.

    the diamond box seats can be had, but not the ones near bush. we are an astros sponsor and get them occasionally. the ones near the front and center are all held by the astros for special guests/promos/sponsors/whatever.
