This area of the board is kinda sleepy, no? How many Ferrari owners are within an hours drive of Cincinnati? I saw an earlier thread where I think 5 cars hooked up in the spring. Another thread where many cars made it to Ferrari's for lunch. Anyone with plans for a fall driving event? Opportunities to meet other owners? Haven't received my info from FCA yet so maybe they have an active calendar.

Hey, I'm here, but you already knew that.

I'm aware of about a dozen others, or so. Check with Bob Miller about the 9/12 drive to Columbus. I'm planning to do that, even though I'll have to miss live coverage of Monza and will undoubtedly hear the outcome while up there.

    Hey Guys,

I am heading to Columbus on the 12th as well - I will actually already be visiting my parents in Marion (just 30minutes north of Columbus) - So I will be just meeting you guys there.

Ken - Is there an RSVP - or do we just show up (if you know?).

What is the destination of the drive on the 12th? I won't be able to go anyway. I have a family outing that day. Hope you get great weather and have alot of fun.

Okay, let me clarify. The September 12 event is the third annual meet of the Ohio Chapter of the Ferrari Club of America. So, I guess you have to be a member for this event - sorry I didn't clarify that in my original note.

The destination is the New Albany Country Club, with a lunch or brunch event, I believe. Here's a link with pertinent forms:

For Cincinnatians driving up, Bob Miller is taking names for a group drive. He can be reached at

    [email protected]

Bob arranged our spring drive to Indy, and it was a lot of fun, with a good turnout, despite so-so weather.

    Hope to see you.

If you're heading to Columbus, you should go to Quaker Steak & Lube to meet. Lots of car people and clubs stop there. They will set aside parking for you as well. Talk to George Evans of Evans Auto and he may stop by in his F40. I am 1 hour south in Louisville, but I am busy for the next few weekends.

Thanks Ken. I talked to Bob via email today. He said he could get me into the Columbus meeting even though my application hasn't been processed yet. But due to my conflict I can't go anyway. Would you guys take some pics and post when you get back? I'd like for the wife to appreciate what she made me miss!
