Am on the flight out to visit the sister in-law... Is there a C&C this Saturday? If so where is it? TIA!
Always a C&C on Saturday, but turnout is, of course, very weather dependent. It's just off of I-5 (take the Carmen Drive exit and head west (right) and make the first right turn onto Sequoia Parkway and go 1/10 mile to the Marriott Courtyards on right). It's in a town named Tigard. 15350 SW Sequoia Parkway behind the Starbucks. I'm usually there. Last Saturday the weather was great. Over 50 cars including 3 360s, a 400i, 308s, 355, a Z8, my 456M, of course, lots of Astons, Porsches and Audis. We also get strange stuff, like a Unimog, a 40's Rolls, custome trikes, etc. Check the Portland C&C thread for a sense of it. Look forward to seeing you there if it looks like a semi-dry day or better.
The map to that Cars and coffee is right here as is the thread: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/140449026-post1.html
Maybe he wants the full hipster experience: voodoo donuts, Saturday Market, biking Forest Park and dinner in the Pearl. Or the scenic route: Brunch at Timberline, picking pears in Hood River, watching the kite surfers, Columbia Gorge waterfalls and sunset at Cannon Beach. Obviously, the weather will be key.
You guys rule. Actually I'm at the sis in-laws house down here in Milwaukie. We've got Fri, sat, and Sunday at Lucia downtown. I'm thinking a beer or a drink at Clyde Commons (if you guys are game I'll get the first round) the food trucks, coava coffee, and a hike in the park of course.. Always trying to see all the Vessen in these parts.
Welcome back, Curt! I'm still working on finding that 3-pedal 360, and still puttering around in the 997 while looking. It's my anniversary this weekend so we're heading out of town. Otherwise, I'd happily be in for another round at Clyde Commons. Enjoy your stay in Portland and I hope to catch up with you when you're back in town next time. Cheers, Jeff.
Allright. Weather looks good. Enough *****footin' around. How's about Ferrari and Eceterini cars meet at C&C Sat. then go for a rip around wine country roads? End up at The Allison. Heck, we could even head to my place at Neskowin for wood fired pizza. Who's in.
Curt, Yes, you should check out the Portland Cars and Coffee on Saturday, weather outlook is positive. Details in Steve's link above or here on my website Portland Cars and CoffeeReal estate for people who love cars | Real estate for people who love cars Give me a ring tomorrow and I'll meet you in the 308. One last drive before I put it away for the winter. 503-703-0618 --Mark
I haven't been in weeks, but I might have to trek out. Not sure what to drive--everything is in the first phases of winter work--I guess I could bring the Lotus, although the front splitter is off.
jjnor, congrats on the anniversary! That ALWAYS has a one-uppance on FCar things. I'll def. try to make it out on sat. Mark, I'll call you later today.
Matthew, hope the weather cooperates for a last minute decision to attend C&C. We will still be there, rain or shine (or showers or sprinkles or frost or ...) just like every Saturday all year 'round. Curt, see you there when you arrive. I'll be wearing something Ferrari, as usual.
