I am a hopeless M*A*S*H nut. For about five years, I buy the next season's episode set the day it hits the shelf! Every night, it's an hour of this before I hit the light.

Favorite episode: When Charles screws the Chinese to trade in their script for ten cents on the dollar and he could not get into the camp for the exchange.

    Two of my favorites:

The practical joke episode which has Hawkeye sleeping outside ringed with barbed wire by the end. Hilarious!

Henry Blake is inside the latrine when it blows up and he stumbles out all dazed and just says "BOOM!"

The all time best for me: the poker game episode with a young Capt Flagg (any episode with him is outstanding) where Frank is taken hostage in the shower by battle fatigued John Ritter.

Flagg: (to Henry & Radar): Colonel, could we speak in private? (looking fiercely at Radar)
Blake:...Oh you can say anything you want to him, he's true blue..
    Flagg: Ok I will.....(looks at Radar)...Get out!

Guy sitting next to Klinger at the poker game: "Hey, up close you're a guy!"
    Klinger: "Far away, too."

    Writing and acting genius.

    Best to all

Sometimes the greatest statements are made when nothing is said.

After Frank Burns runs over half the camp with a tank, Col. Potter simply walks up to a flattened Jeep, looks it over with pity, and shoots it once to put it out of its misery.

Great show. Also the one with the unexploded bomb in the center of camp.

    "it's a propaganda bomb!"

Jamie Farr was the only member of the cast that actually served in Korea. In the late 50's he became a regular on the Red Skelton show along with being on The Chicago Teddy Bear seires, the Danny Kay Show, F-Troop and Room 222. Very talented guy.

I watch MASH all the time. I always liked the Sidney Freeman episodes.

The one where Harry Morgan plays an insane general is my all time favorite.

MASH has become even more special to me recently. My grandfather, a WWII vet who fought at Iwo Jima, passed away when I was about 5. I was visiting my grandmother recently and was watching MASH, and she told me it was his favorite show, which I didn't know. :)

Great visual with him lapping up the nuts and bolts with the oil dripping down his chin! I would have liked to make Wayne Hynes do that with my 308!
