Quick Ski Report from Western Canada....
Revelstoke Backcountry is the only place to get fresh tracks on occasion in the past 6 weeks... but you have to earn your turns

Banff Norquay will most likely open this Saturday... manmade snow but usually have a table top and 3 rails for the bangers

Ski Nakiska will be open for Ski Canada starting this Saturday, I have "Alpin Canada" jackets which provide poaching rights :)

Lake Louise and Sunshine are slated to open Nov 8th which looks like it'll happen from their webcams.

I scheduled for a crazy trip planned in Feb. for Big Sky (Montana)-Vail-Jackson Hole-Park City-Tamarask-Lost Lake Lodge I've been looking forward to it for two months and just can't get it off my mind :) We'll follow the snow on this trip but hope to check out most of these resorts since I rarely snowboard in the US except for in Washington/Montana

Has anyone ever been to Haines Alaska? I'm tempted to test my limits with a trip there this year also:)
