I wrote 20th because I'm so far behind I figured I better conquer the 20th century stuff before moving on to the 21st.
What are the first 4 letters/numbers of the serial number ? If it's a true 54G, then it is 'CDF?' with the ? being a number or letter, anything beyond a CDF5 may prove to be a pain. That will dictate what can be done, if it's too new, all you can do is what is built into it unless you are a real knowledgeable with computers. I'd really recommend logging into it and looking around on the help screens. You have not said: are you using this for wireless, wired, or both ? That's the big question.
CDFB. I will be mostly be using it wired. The reason I bought wireless is that once in a while I will be bringing home my laptop from work.
