Ap manifolds fitted but eml light on

Installed AP headers and got CELs all the time. Installed 2" straight extenders and got CEL one time right away then none for 8 months. Get them on Amazon for $10 ea

 

If you haven't reset it's no wonder your getting a code, the computer has learned different values from what it's getting. Power off using the battery isolator in the trunk, leave for 30 mins, turn back on, turn off a/c insert key and turn to position 2 and wait 10 seconds, then start the car and allow to idle for 10 mins, then go drive and it'll learn all the new values.

Get them from FabSpeed. They will run you between 120-150, two piece set. I installed them on my F430 and took care of my CEL after installing AP headers.

 

Dealing with this issue on my 06 now. Headers, sport cats extenders still got CEL. Just got an ecu reflash. No CEL after 25 miles but now all the sensors show. NA. Not available. Fabspeed says drive to car to reset the ECUs. Not sure how that will make the sensors come on line. Will take the car out tomorrow and see what happens. Drives and sounds great.

 

VvvMd, try disconnecting your battery for a few minutes then reconnecting to reset everything. After that, drive it for a while and then check the sensors.

Just replaced the ECU after they were removed for the reflash. They haven't seen juice for a couple of weeks

 

Is this not the same thing for $16? Any reason not to buy these?

These are the ones from FabSpeed . I can't speak to the Amazon ones as I have not tried those, all I can tell you is that you need two-piece O2 extenders since one piece O2 extenders won't screw on as they will hit part of the frame/ transaxle heat shield (I found this out the hard way when FabSpeed accidentally sent me the one piece O2 extenders).

 

I was getting CEL after headers and sport cats with O2 extenders. Got a reflash from Fabspeed just got my car inspected after reflash. My code scanner said that most of the sensors were off line. The folks at Fabspeed said it would work.

Is this reflash the $2k ecu tune that FabSpeed offers on their website?

 

Yes. Pretty easy to do. Took about an hour to take the ecu out overnight to Fabspeed they overnight back. they will negotiate on the price if you get a package everything as advertised dealing with them
