    good things happen to those who buy cs's....just got invited to another track day at fiorano, but this time the instructor is fernando alonso....for the low low price of 7000 chf tho...

    unfortunately i probably cant make this one since i have already committed to one at imola for the same dates, and alonso isnt my favorite guy in the world either.

    wish these things had been a bit more spread out instead of all at once !!!

    Supposedly, that's what one of the two Google Guys(founders) said to the other when approached about "shouldn't we get a Gulf Stream V" or something similar. Actually made $$$ sense the way I read it. BIGger plane, lavish refurb, cheaper $$$. Some good thinking, I thought. Dunno about the runway reqs, but I doubt those guys care much about landing fees.

    Excellent way to travel, I flew in a 50 once. It ruined me for life, security lines are especially painful after experiencing that jet.

    If it was today's version of the plane, it's a G550. Piaggio makes a very cool plane and at one time was partially owned by Piero Ferrari, IIRC.

    I've have come to terms with the fact that there will always be someone richer, skinnier or prettier than me - but thanks for rubbing that in, Jim LOL (ok, so maybe not prettier.. :D)

    When we went for the private factory tour in 2008, I got to drive the second generation of the world's ugliest car around Maranello, Bologna and Tuscany - doesn't that count for something?!

    <In its defense, it did successfully fit in four adults, a baby in a car seat and ridiculous amount of luggage for all of us and still manage to squeeze down the tiny Italian backroads.>
