they're both a couple of punks.

I wouldnt put up with the way Kurt talked to Addington either; totally uncalled for, on many occasions. yeah I get the whole "competitor in the heat of battle" thing, but sheesh.

Funny - we never hear of these antics by anyone else, do we?
Not to the extent these two clowns pull it off.

My thoughts too...no such thing as bad publicity, right?

Seriously, it did cost Pennzoil some air time during the race since Punch pulled the interview...and kudos to him for it.

Let's not forget Smoke's antics of the past.

I've only been into NASCAR for three seasons, Kurt was one of my favorites when I first started sometimes watching races, loved the way he drove. I've been on the track with him in karts before, I still respect his driving, but from the opening of this season in Daytona, he's been a long shot from one of my favorite drivers.

Did not like his brother three years ago, had hopes two years ago he'd learned and would get his act together, disappointed, ditto this season.

Both have great driving ability, both are very sore losers. To be honest, race drivers are race drivers because they strive to win, so you combine a huge field of guys who all think they can win, you'll get this stuff when they don't, and with only one winner, there will be a lot of losers.

Two weeks ago the crowd openly and loudly boo'd both drivers. The one that they really hated was Kyle. Funny though, as I photographed him during the driver intro/and the booing, he seemed to relish it..kinda looked like he enjoyed it. He certainly heard it - as it was loud.

I went to school with Kurt and know him well. He was an arrogant punk then as is he now. I also very confused by the claims of him being some prodigious young driver. He was ok but because he was young it made him more interesting. He won some races but there were better and more deserving people and drivers out there. In this respect he is similar to Tony Hawk although Tony is a supremely nice fellow. With Tony, his father ran the business and marketing end of things and always showed up with a giant RV plastered with Tony's name, but there were undoubtedly much better young skaters out there. Marketing was key with both these fellows

Look at MARS tv adds with their M&M characters acting up...Kyle Busch is honestly a good fit for their marketing campaign.

I feel he should of been parked for the season after the truck incident, I also feel Vickers should of come under penalty for taking out Kenseth. At least Kyle has the excuse of heat of the moment, Vickers was delayed, and very deliberate, and much harsher than simply being nudged out of the way when blocking on a short track, his supposed reason for "retaliation".

Kurt started the year off wrong for me by thanking "lady luck" for winning the Gatorade duel and Bud shootout. Common man, you have a team, crew, crew chief, mechanics, techs, engineers, etc. Instead he just lays it on lady luck - way to endear yourself to a team!

I really really wish Kyle would have a season where he got his act together, he's a very good driver when not pissed off, I wish he'd keep it calm for a season, but he keeps disappointing me.

I get your point but playful antics and being an ****** are two different things. When did the M&Ms ever flip-off the pretzel? :D

Absolutely and I think it is such a double-edged sword. His personality/drive/whatever anyone wants to call it helps make him the great driver he is yet it also keeps him from being a champion at the highest level.
