Apple CarPlay and Rear Camera

I’ve been poking around trying to enable a rear camera on my 458 and started going down the path of finding someone in SoCal who could do a proxi change in the BCM. I came across a thread of a CarPlay module that has 2 optional RCA video inputs. Looks like the module inserts itself between the NIT video feed and the right hand display (like other CarPlay modules), but once that feed is there, another video could be muxed in (apparently using CAN bus signally vs needing to splice into the reverse wire). Does anyone have any experience with this unit? Alibaba search shows a lot of modules coming up (seems like a common module for multiple cars with a different wiring harness for LVDS/CAN bus).

Any ideas who the original manufacturer is?

I didn’t think that one had a rear camera option?
