iTunes has crashed. If you were in the middle of upgrading to the new 2.0 software you got to the end, right at the point where all the info on your phone is gone, and the system crashes. Congrats! Until they get it fixed you now own a phone that can't make any calls.
Trying to get through to Apple tech support is a joke. As I write this I've been on hold with the CORPORATE office for 42 minutes.

Good luck Dave! Hope it gets resolved soon and in a positive manner for you!

I am going to jump on the iPhone train closer to the end of the year...I figure by then I will be able to get a 32gig iPhone and I feel that is about a good place to be. More pics, more tunes, etc...

Maybe you know the answer to this ???? Does the iphone support STEREO blue tooth headsets? I think there are a few of them out there and more will come...my thought is that if I am out working out I have my ear buds in right now, but it would be nice if I could do it ALL wirelessly... I use blue tooth over ear headset w/ my Razr now...

Thanks and best of luck Dave!

I'm going to wait a few more days to see if this gets sorted out.
The iPhone does not support stereo bluetooth, phones like the LG chocolate do, but not on Jobs' watch.

Either updating the old one or trying to activate a 3g one. They seem to have gotten it fixed though

They don't support stereo bluetooth under normal circumstances. You can buy a Jabra bluetooth music adapter, though, and it works great. I use one with my iPhone (with Plantronics stereo headset), and it rocks. Best thing I ever bought for traveling.

Do you have a link for that??? Love to see what that is like. Is it a Software or a hardware upgrade? Guessing it is hardware... That being the case how big is it and does it just plug into the regular mini jack???

Thanks for the info! Good to know!
