Apple Picking

Just to see if there's any interest in making a day trip in the upcoming weeks:

Apple picking is always a fun day trip to make with your honey and with the family. I like

because you park right in the orchard, have a picnic lunch under the orchard trees (this is a must do with the honey) and enjoy the fun as well as 14 varieties of apples. There's a store for apple/country related gifts, and usually a small band playing as well.

Generally, we can't take the Ferrari into the orchards. We'd get stuck. But if there's interest, I'll call & see if we can get "reserved" parking in the lot & consequently serve as one of their "showings" for the day. Maybe we can neggotiate a free bag of apples or two?

What's the interest level? I'm thinking Sept 12 or 18/19. Could also be a mid-week run/night run if only a few are interested.

 

Clyde are you coming on to us?

 

Not unless you consider me "your honey". And then, it takes two to tango. And I'm not going to dance with any guys. So the short of it.....[size=+2]No![/size]

Good idea Clyde. I may very well be in for this (might make up for all the days I've spent in the car away from the family lately!). ;-)
