    I’m sure that I am as frustrated as everyone with the dash and controls but is there a simple way to stop the dash being taken over every time you receive a message? There must be a simple button to get back to the normal dash layout? Any help by the tecky young people please

    Mine comes back after some seconds to the original screen when I got a message.

    Mine also does that, it’s more of a problem driving at night, I was told by. My dealer that there is a software upgrade coming so the apple play pop up window is smaller

    You can turn off notifications on the phone: Notifications-> messages, there is an option for CarPlay, that should do it. Same for WhatsApp.
    Another option to explore is driving focus, you can select notifications from specific people or no one, it can auto-activate when using CarPlay.
    Agree that CarPlay implementation has room for improvement on the dash but wouldn't hold my breadth on software upgrade. Purosangue apparently has no SatNav so will only use CarPlay, maybe they will have a better/different implementation

    You can also not pair the CarPlay and just pair it as a bluetooth device. But then you lose the CarPlay.
