I've used the search and I can't find the official application anywhere... I signed all the paperwork on my "new" 348 last night. It's a 94 Speciale from Steve Barney at Sport Auto. He had it at Roebling if anyone saw it there. My camera would not work yesterday, so I had to steal some pics from Michael/thecarreaper (thanks!). My Army deployment ends (hopefully) in a few weeks and I'll be shipping it home. I will make sure to get some good delivery pics. Sport Auto is great to work with. They are very professional and friendly. Unlike most of the dealers that I spoke with, I felt as if I could trust what they were telling me. I highly recommend them to anyone in the search process. Thanks to everyone for the great info here. It's amazing what a difference it makes during the search process to know what questions to ask, what to look for, etc. Spence Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Welcome to the Brotherhood! Nice car. Sport Auto has a great reputation. A little light 348 reading as you finish up your deployment: http://www.the348.com/tech/348.html
These "brotherhood guys" are growing by the day!!! All I have been seeing on here lately is 355's for sale and new 348's being purchased, has the world gone mad???
Not so bad realy gothspeed becourse one 355 is worth ten 348s. So just you and i have it coverd With our rear gunners like Jetset ready to watch our six and even things out YAY!! for the special forces equivalent in the ferrari world, the 355
chaa I drove my 355 last night and it was awesome!! The power is incredible on a cold night the handling is just top notch!! Everytime I get in it, it just feels perfect!! So IMO the 355 has it all
Congratulations Spencer. There is so much knowledge here in just one website. A couple of people here that helped me SO much with my 348 are Daniel at Ricambi, Ernie in California, and No Doubt. These guys are always willing to go the extra step for new people getting to know their cars and they know these cars very well. Good luck and welcome to the Brotherhood!
If Steve lets me, the car should be there for the next several weeks. I may need you to go over and drive it so that it doesn't sit too long! If the weather is nice I was planning on coming up next weekend for a drive if you are in town. From some of these other posts I need to get some wheel spacers from you also! I'm still trying to figure out how to convince my wife that the car won't be allowed to leave without an x-ost... Spence
Yes, I'll be here next weekend. Just give me a shout whenever you think you'll be in town. Wait 'till you see Sport Auto and meet their team. Really, you'll just be head-over-heels.
Congratulations, you are now a member of a great band of brothers that will be there for you when needed......... even non official members, namely Chaa and Gothspeed (355 guys) are there for you too.Welcome.
Sign me up! Thanks for all of the responses. I can't wait until I'm home and it's in the garage. Hopefully I'll be able to visit it next weekend and go for a spin with Daniel. Steve sent me a pic to let me know that it's well protected against those pesky Lambos and Porsches... (and the 355 lurking behind it) Image Unavailable, Please Login
