I'm trying to justify laying out LARGE $ for 1 car. I love convertibles & this 1 is a Duesy :) Well its the modern equivalent of a Duesenburg anyways.

But is it really 1,000 times better than a Shaguar E type ? or 2,000 times better than a Corvette ? or 100% better than an F40 ? I dont think so.

So from an investment point of view, What do you think an F50 could be worth down the road ?

Well , it wont devaluate unless u mod it or put 100 000 miles on it. Might appreciate when it becomes old enough for classics rallies.. lol

You had to lease them, but they were about $475,000. In the US, I see them go for around $600-650k, but in Europe about $450k.

Edit: William, it depends on how far down the road you're looking, but I wouldn't buy it from an investment stand point. If you don't love the car, I wouldn't see why I should spend $600k on it when I could buy a house and make more money. If you want to know the resale, I don't think it would fall under $600k in the US (low mileage).

It won't be a wise investment as there are other investment which will make more returns than putting money on F50. But don't get me wrong F50 is the most beautiful Ferrari ever built IMO.
But if you love F50, like I do, and want to own it then it would be a sound choice as you will cherish it and will make some money through the years minus the maintenace, of course.
