My wife has signed us up for a national parks tour in Alaska. I know one of the parks is Denali. Not sure about the other destinations. At any rate, could someone make suggestions as to what type of dress is appropriate? Should we expect warm weather or dress for cooler temperatures? Thanks in advance for any suggestions that can be offered.

Temps will be 40-70 degrees typically, plan for abrupt weather changes and rain at any time. Mosquitoes will be something to plan for. Keep covered and bring lots of deet spray.

You didn’t say when you’re visiting, but agree with Windsock to be prepared for anything weather-wise. If your trip is in the next six weeks or so, be aware that the changeable conditions mentioned previously can include temps in the 70 - 80s; which feels like 90+ degrees in the Lower 48.
Layering is the key and you can always pick-up anything you’ll need in Anchorage or Fairbanks.
Mosquitoes haven’t been quite as bad this year due to the extremely dry Winter, but the biting flies seem to have picked-up the slack.
In any case, enjoy your trip; Alaska is an awe-inspiring environment that won’t soon be forgotten.
