Would you pay more for a car that is factory approved? I'm looking at 06 F430 F1 and 09 F430 F1. The 06 has a basic 1Y warranty; the 09 has the approved program with 2Y warranty.
Just curious but what is the price difference between the 06 and the 09? The ones I've seen lately have been up to 40k apart. It depends on each car as well. The 09 could turn out to be a lemon and the 06 could be the better car. If you can afford it go with the newer car and longer warranty.
Usually someone looking at a 2006 would not consider a 2009. In any event a service manager tried to sell me on a Ferrari power cube warranty based on the fact the particular 360 was an F1 and he said while rare, the F1 actuator failure could be very costly. It is up to you.
