Appunti di storia project

It has been a cold winter here in Kentucky so that prompted a project I have wanted to do for years. I scanned all of the pages of my copy of Appunti di storia by Carlo Mariani ( Ferrari calls him Carletto in his hand-written notes) with an app that corrects for page curvature, converted the scans to editable text with an OCR program. Next translated the Italian text and photo captions to English with an AI transformer, ran the resulting text through another AI editing program and printed it all out so I can finally read about the beginning of auto racing in Europe, a fascinating story. Each photo was copied with a Light 16 camera and several photoshopped for a little enhancement. View attachment 3791094 View attachment 3791095
