NO! I never said that! Jeez..can't believe what you read in the papers. It's in the Events section? I tried to make a big deal that Ed P was attending..they mention THAT?

They didn't mention that. THey're probably afraid of the traffic jam that it would cause, when all of my fans show up to just try and get a glimpse of me.:)

You're right, I wasn't thinking...you probably want your privacy for once.
Hey look! Barney's car is famous!! With my Mondi in the shadow of the 308..sort of a metaphor for the way it really is... ;)

I read it to see similarities between what I said vs what she wrote. I did say the word "Ferrari" and that DOES indeed appear in the article. :|

I was thinking it did make us seem kind of shallow. I guess I'll get over it..... OK... I'm over it.

I went out and made 100 double sided copies. I'll bring them in the morning. I took Ed P on the route tonight so he can help me. He knows the route VERY well and will be driving mid to 3/4's back to assist. Please e-mail me an e-mail address besides here and Yahoo. Thanks.

ps - intially I was excited that my car showed up gleaming on page 3 today - then I read the article. Why the heck did they write it up like that? Someone needs to talk to the person who wrote that up. I always hated Newsday and at times like this I am reminded why that is true.

    Full excerpt below:

BRAGGING RITES. Get together a bunch of guys who have spent too much money on cars they generally don't drive much and watch them give themselves prizes - that's pretty much what happens at the Ferrari car show hosted by the Empire State Region of the Ferrari Club of America. About 50 of the very expensive wheels (an entry level 360 costs about $180,000, although some used ones - very used - can be had for less than $20,000) will be on display at Galluccio Family Wineries in Cutchogue, tomorrow at noon. This is a friendly show with other high-end sports cars on display. Prizes are people's choice and it costs nothing to ogle. Visit www.gristina wines.com or call 631-734-7089 for more information.

Pretty mean, I must say. Sam must have really pissed her off! :D
