April 28 Ross Docks 3rd Annual GWB Meet

hm sounds interesting, if finals aren't making me want to kill myself i'll stop by. i love the ross docks, a great photo op and hang out spot.

i might come, it depends on how early i get back from the PDA event in Limerock, i heard this was supposed to be earlier but they postponed it.

The end of April is great though

 

curious, will the parking fee be in effect for the docks or no?

is a permit required for the event?

 

Im interested in coming down to shoot some pix.

Exactly how do I access this area from... say... Rtes 80/95? I'll be travelling East from the Morris County area. Thanks!

 

Love to see a Fellow Morris County F-Chatter. You can access the Ross Dock by taking the last exit in NJ off 95East. Once your off the exit, turn right onto Martha Washington and then next block turn left onto Main and that runs right into River Road, and then about a half mile down there is an entrance on your left for a road to take you under the GWB. Ive been down there twice in the past 2 weeks and it has been closed, so if it is on the day of the event, you will have to take the entrance up north in Alpine for the Boat Basin.

the north entrance is an easy access...

i do not know if you remember where the Assembly steak house is, but if you do: take palisades avenue (as if you're going onto the pal parkway north towards the river) and just go straight, it will lead you down a windy, rock wall lined road that if you make a right turn at the bottom will lead eventually to the docks (note: you will pass the englewood boat basin, just keep going, it is the next dock set-up)

 

would have loved to head out but I am taking the RS to the ROE tomorrow. Keep us updated on the next one.

 

Im 50/50 as of now.... made another committment, but if that dsnt take too long, I'll gladly swing by.
