    I'm looking for someone who is interested in designing/building a modern lakehouse in houston, texas. I have a waterfront lot that I would like to build a weekend/2nd home on. I prefer minimal designs with steel, concrete and glass. Any help, leads appreciated.

    Drop this guy a line. I've known him for a good number of years. I think he will be right up your alley in regards to design. He built his home (which he recently sold) with all glass and steel and just one door - a front door. Everything else was glass panes. I can send pics if you'd like. His other examples are quite incredible. He does a lot of designs here in Austin but never know.

    Thanks. Their homes looks great! I just wish they were located here in Houston as the cost to transport the modules here would be alot.

    this house is really beautiful, i like the inside taste, the finition is just perfect. Only one question how much can cost a house like that?

    I know Ray Kappe very well. He designed so many beautiful houses. Look him up under Google. This livinghomes.net is his latest venture. I would not immediately give up on this. Maybe transport is not as expensive as you think.
