Seems like architects are well-represented numerically on Fchat...a new name pops up regularly. There was an article in Architectural Digest maybe ten years ago about architects and cars...discussed how architects have a stronger than average tendency to purchase costly luxury, exotic, or unusual cars that are often beyond their means. Frank Lloyd Wright was cited as an example: nearly always broke but also always dressed to the teeth and driving a new Lincoln Continental in the 1940's, when that was a truly impressive car. I've known two or three other architects who were enthusiasts of the type found here, but of the majority of my architect friends and acquaintances, about 50% prefer generic upscale luxury sedans and SUV's such as BMW, Mercedes, Cadillac, Lexus, etc., and the other 50% are of the cars-as-transportation-appliances outlook.
