Mostly family stuff. We travel to the mountains pretty often, and our kids are getting near college age, so doing college research and applications takes up a large amount of 'free time'.
We used to go boating, but the family got tired of that after about three years.
Our house is like a hotel on the weekends. Usually we have between 2 and 4 guests fo the kids staying over. We like to watch movie and yell out the funny parts like people used to do at Rocky Horror...

I'm a dedicated indoorsman, other than a ride in my car or on bicycle.

Stuff to do...read, build models, write, movies, tv, video games.

    Airplane Gliding,
I have wanted to do this, it looks great, your recommendations.
Do you own your own glider and if so is it a major cost to do this.

I had always wanted to do the soaring thing. On the way back from the track I go right by a small rural airfield where they have a soaring club. I tried a test ride and was hooked. You join the club for about $1,200 per year and get unlimited use of the clubs 8 sailplanes. The only cost is the price of the tow, which is $30 to 3,000 feet. The instructor is $5 per flight. I'm still learning so it will be a while before I solo. You can get a really sweet used sailplane for as little as $20K. The way I look at it it's cheaper than golf.
