No, people don't recall the fact his first 488 had aftermarket wheels that would throw off the traction control dynamics when using launch control. Just because people have a YouTube channel doesn't mean they know as much about cars. These people are enthusiasts, which is wonderful and encouraging, but don't lose the overall picture. Not related to this thread, but same thing with all these lame "900 HP" modded cars, that fail to win races. People will tune them on a dyno for all of 3 seconds, but fail to realize in the real world, a car has to fight the air and will be under WOT for much longer than 3 seconds, hence engine protection measures kick in due to lack of adequate cooling. So many mod videos will say "cold air intake" and an automatic giveaway of marketing, it's just a fancy name for air filter.
I tuned a car, took it to the track with GPS and it was slower. It felt faster around town, but you can bet I was disappointed. That being said, 2019's could be faster. But could just be that car. Sent from my Pixel 3 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
