While there are a couple noted delusional owners in this thread, $100k in 5 years is just trolling.

Not likely... may be for a STORIED scud with above 50k miles

+1. May be he was dreaming and was thinking about a high mileage/earlier production regular 430. Lol

    ''Dreamer'' indeed.

Scuds are going up. Just about any ''track focused'' street car made by Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini etc are going up now that all cars are going seriously digital.

Who knows how much a SCUD will be in 4-5 years?

The first time I tried to buy a SCUD 3-4 years ago, they were running at 189-200k. Come 458, F12 and Speciale, look at them right now, thats basically how much most of them(SCUDS) are still selling in a Ferrari Dealer.

I can't tell about the demand but the supply seams to get less. Once in a while I get the dilemma to sell mine and upgrade to a speciale. I can't justify the price difference yet. One thing is for sure. On a scuderia you get a lot for your money at these current prices.

Here in switzerland scud prices have not moved from last years lower limit of 130k and most cars are offered between 140 and 150k. Meanwhile 458 have lost so much value in these last 12 months that the lower priced ones are now cheaper than scuderia.

    Hi Giallomodena,
same here in Italy.Only two CSs for sale (one with a milage to the Moon and back!) and a handful of Scuds against a boatload of Italias.Low mileage Scuds cost the same if not more than many 2010/2012 458s and for the same money needed for an average-priced full-specced Italia you can have a stunning late-production Scud.Add to that that as soon as the the new 488s will start being delivered that will bring down the 458 prices even more....the Speciales will undestandably demand a premium though!
    Cheers

That price seems reasonable. Non OEM wheels and aftermarket stereo reduce the value. Another hit for it being black and again for it being 2008. Can't tell if it has the carbon package from the pics but the front splitter doesn't look like it's carbon.

Any non factory mods will hurt the price - I added 2 pt roll bar, 5 pt harness, and fire safety system and i know it lowered the price - but I'll never sell it - just leave it to the kids so I don't care

Also, the above mods make the car safer on the track - I'm not great but am good on the track - love to run fast - when my kids drive it i make them use hans and closed face helmets & fire suit - me, shorts and open face helmet -lol

So, I've just bought this mint 2009 Scud which was ordered by her first owner with 3-point safety belts.Do you guys think that if I'd have the 4-point fitted at the factory or by an official Ferrari dealer that would affect its value? Not meaning to sell her but I'd really like to know your opinions!
    Cheers

Assuming its a Euro car I don't think it would effect its value.

Here is the History of Dannyboy starting with yesterday's post by Dannyboy here. Guess what Dannyboy, I trust he DOES know because based on your ramblings, you have been 100% wrong.

Why is he huffing and puffing? Why is Dannyboy acting the way he does? Back in 2010 he said....

That's why. He wants to fake out the market and hope we pull blinders over our eyes so he can sell his car.

So in 2010, Dannyboy said -

Been 3 years now Dannyboy....And he said this about the 458 in 2010

Mis-Information in 2011. Scuderias were not selling at that price then and nor are they now.

    In 2012. $275k?

Unsubscribed Fchat user trying to sell his car at his “fair” price

    Always insulting

Dannyboy, you have already been banned from this site once. Keep it up "Buddy"

Not really. For years the regulars in this forum have listened to Dannyboy's condescending and insulting attitude.

Below is yet another example of his long line of diatribe against Fchat users.
