    Thinking ahead to a possible time when/if the dampers on my 488 may need replacing and I wish to know if they are the same as 458 ones. This is mainly because I'm aware that Nagengast in Poland rebuild 458 ones and if the same then would therefore also be able to do so for the 488.

    To conclude this post it appears they are not the same as they have different part numbers.

    The 458 and 488 ate indeed different and for further info the spring sets ate also different.
