There was an article in the NYTimes about a week or two ago, fellow leased his Veyron, those numbers were pretty much the same as his.

It makes sense in the way, that if someone wants one, and don't wanna pay 2mill. because he has to use the money for other investments, this way he can do both. I think this is the only reason anyone would lease cars of this magnitude.

The other reason is for business tax expenses. If the business has enough income, this type of lease would be a business write off if it can be proven it is used for business reasons.

My F355 is through Putnam, really good to look into for tax purposes, pretty much rent to own.

Oh? Last I checked the going price of an Enzo was 1.5 or more I believe (for black), depending on the color. Find me an Enzo, mint condition and next to no mileage (after all the Veyron is new), for under a million. Then get back to me.

Looked around cars.com, autotrader, ebaymotors, I only found 1 that had a price listed, the others say call...

    http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=221080454&dealer_id=54537801&car_year=2003&model=ENZO&num_records=&make2=&start_year=1981&keywordsfyc=&keywordsrep=&engine=&certified=&body_code=0&fuel=&awsp=false&search_type=both&distance=0&marketZipError=false&search_lang=en&make=FER&color=&page_location=findacar%3A%3Aispsearchform&min_price=&drive=&default_sort=priceDESC&max_mileage=&style_flag=1&sort_type=priceDESC&address=01886&advanced=&end_year=2008&doors=&transmission=&max_price=&cardist=1211

So yes, for more than 2/3 the price you can get under 2/3 the horsepower, 1/2 the wheels driven, 4/5 the top speed and 2,500 miles more. I made a point to say I know it's not a fair argument to make, so why would you still get on me for it?
