bought a set of CS rims but the seller told me they were straightened and fixed to the oem spec.

I guess lots of people bought used rims here and there without even knowing if they were repaired in their history.

I wonder what it takes to bend a cs wheel... I hit one hellova pot hole that bent a control arm, but the wheel and tire were fine.... You sure they weren't just talking about the outer edge?

you can't tell the rim is bent by naked eye, only on the balance machine
    it measured 10 - 40,
the FSM said: if static gram exceed 36 , replace the rim

I think you'd have to be crazy to run a rim that had a crack repaired or bend straightened on the track. Some people won't run them on the street.

You should be able to easily see where it was welded or straightened.

No mine didn't bend on YouTube. I just realized the control arm wasn't sitting on the bushing right by about 1/4"... Replaced it and I was on my way...

Kinda sketchy...is it worth taking the chance? The CS rims were fairly light for 19", and a wheel failure at the track rarely ends without bodywork. I would not do it on my challenge car, but if the repair was done correctly and from the runout you have listed I don't think it was...Maybe use them on the street.
