Are the doors from a spider

    interchangeable with a coupe. During the construction of the removable hard top for the 355 spider I discovered a few suttle differences in the width of the body rails on the quarters and how the window seats on the back among others.
    So to further the question, are all of the bolt on parts the same or compatible?

    Ricambi lists doors as different between coupe and spider..

    Hi Jeff

    As I see it the exterior dimensions of both the spider and coupe doors are the same.

    The big difference is that the spider doors interior construction is heavily reinforced to provide some safety in the event of an accident.

    So, the hinges(spider ones are heavily reinforced),door skin and air inlet scoop should be interchangeable.

    Other bolt on items vary and may or may not be interchangeable.
