Any thoughts, experiences with these? http://www.ebay.com/itm/5x-Ferrari-348-F355-360-Alloy-Wheel-Replacement-Stickers-Round-Badges-50mm-HC4?item=360412693564&cmd=ViewItem
There is one potential advantage to re-using the old caps. The old ones form a seal with the wheel and keep moisture out of the middle of the wheel (could be important for 355's). The new center caps don't form a seal at all. That said, I don't know if these stickers look good in person or not.
If you reuse your seals (o-rings) from your old caps, you'll be okay. I did that with new caps from Ricambi.
It probably helps, but with the old o-ring on the new caps, it doesn't seal the way the old ones did. I solve it by not getting my car anywhere near water.
I think he was laughing because something is either "Factory Original" OR "After Market," but it can't be both... Mike
Duh. Thanx. I get the drift. A verbose piece of tautology with a hint of oxymoron. Might be a Pacific v Atlantic thing. OK - original factory part from Ferrari - how does that sound.
When you compare them to the originals on your car you can see how much the yellow background to the cavallino has faded from new. Not to mention that the new ones are scratch free. Makes a big difference to your wheels IMO.
Original, transparent ones? I thought those were no longer available? The ones I bought from Ricambi, were the new ones that are yellow right on the surface. They look great, but are a little different from what they used in 1995.
