I know its a stupid question, but the website is a little unclear and I can't get through on the phone number (I guess because the Indy500 '07 tickets have just gone on sale).

Do I need to buy the "daily admission" pass as well?

150$ seems cheap for the most expensive tickets if its for all three days. But there seems to be only the one ticket option.

Edit: from further reading it seems like I'll need the sunday ticket + a practice/qualification combo pass + a parking pass. Is that right?

Is there free seating on Friday and Saturday?

In the past, the tickets were only for Sunday. Separate teickets were available for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I believe seating for those days is open.

Don't forget that since you have a reserved seat ticket for Sunday's race, you are granted admission into the Thursday pit-walk! Only reserved seat ticket holders have access to the pit walk, no gen-admin.

Aha - cool. Did not know that, but now I have extra motivation for some speedy driving on Monday and Tuesday...
