AFAIK the Dino script should be blue with a silver edge. The original center caps are plastic, not metal like some reproductions. Never say never with Dinos, but I would say the black script is not original.

    Hi Bob

I would agree but who would spend the money to make four black scripted wheel caps?

I just want to be sure before I replace them that they are not original.

Simon, I had a closer look on my wheel caps. I do have a set which I think is still original and it`s black (or darkblue) scripeted. The other wheel caps, which I replaced with new sickers in the past are blue scripted. This stickers were 100% after market stickers.
But I´m not 100% sure the dark once are original to the wheel caps.

    Regards Matthias

    Hi Simon and Mathias,

I still have several spare center emblems which I bought from my restorer about 10 years ago. He bought them from Ferrari in 1974. The script is blue with siver edging. He has restored a number of Dinos over the years and has told me he does not believe the black script is correct. Again, never say never with Dino production, but I still doubt that the black script is original.
    Ciao, Bob.
