Signs you are addicted to Fchat

1. You know the names and personal lives of people on Ferrarichat whom you've never met but you have no idea who lives next door to you.

2. You can change your timing belts blindfolded but you still have to have your three year old program the VCR.

3. You read all the back issues of every Forza & Cavallino magazine but you don't know the name of your local newspaper.

4. You can describe in detail all the events in Enzo Ferrari's life but you don't know where your spouse was born.

5. You go to Ferrari meets every year but it's been years since you've been to a family reunion.

6. You have all the phone numbers to Ferrari UK memorized but you have to look up your parent's telephone number.

7. You've named your children and pets names such as Enzo, Dino, Jean Todt, etc.

8. You get up in the middle of the night to check new postings to Fchat.

9. Your computer is in the same room as your bed so you can get up in the middle of the night to check posting to Fchat.

10. You have a laptop in bed with you so you don't have to get up in the middle of the night to check posting to Fchat.

11. You can recite your entire VIN number by heart but you can't remember when your mother-in-law's birthday is.

12. And lastly, you can recite the entire VIN number of other people on Fchat but you don't know when your wife's birthday is.

I don't have any kids (that I know about) but my alternating backup tapes for my client database are named Enzo and Dino.

Well compared to other more expensive habits.......like actually OWNING some Ferraris, shooting the breeze on the Internet's pretty cheap!

You forgot another one, or two.

13. During Fchat outages, you check and recheck every five minutes until Fchat comes alive, and then immediately post something, anything, just to make sure it's really back.

14. While on Fchat, you have multiple browser windows open to different threads, just to see who responds without losing track of the other threads.


And yes, I have been accused of being an f-chat addict, but I could quit anytime. Anytime at all.

When I say, "someone said..." my wife's default assumption is that it is from Fchat!

 

^^LOL! I have the same problem. I was talking to a friend about the prices of Diesel vs Gasoline, and the high demand of Diesel vehicles here in the US, and I began a diatribe full of facts I learned on Fchat about the world's oil consumption and Chinas role in fuel prices, and she asked, "Where do you get this stuff?" Um, I read it somewhere.

Every friend i have is from and/or because of FerrariChat... Everyone in my cell phone and email address books is from FerrariChat... Today is the second time this week that i'm wearing a FerrariChat t-shirt (and no, it's not the same one)... i could go on but it would really be pointless...
