I am so happy that Kimi is gone. Now that he's getting so good at barrel rolls while attempting to rally perhaps he should try his hand at Red Bull air races?

    getting back on topic ...

Alonso is a great driver and he deserves most of his wins. Let's just not include Singapore from a couple years ago. But I just don't like him as a person. And no, I don't know him personally, just what I read and see on TV.
I'm happy he won today; the Scuderia needed another win but I really want Massa to score 25 pts in one race this season. He needs his confidence back; he looks like a wet potato in these post-race interviews.
    Only 5 races to go!

I still don't like Alonso (unstable temperament)... but I admit, I enjoyed seeing a Ferrari win at Monza.

It seems Alonso is only on form when he was a completely deferential team mate - and lately we've seen that team orders are making Massa subservient to Alonso's campaign. When he has to race his team mate too, Alonso seems to fall to pieces for some reason.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

I've never seen LH yet demonstrate any race craft. All he does is get in and go for it, and often wears his tires out prematurely which is why Jensen cruises on to a win.

Happy to be wrong, and I am not hating the guy it's just that he's not a race craft sort of guy. What Jensen did this year at the Australian GP was race craft.

Out foxing the guy in front after a massive, many lap battle is race craft too ... has he done that this year? Heck has anybody for that matter ... and lets not include screaming past the mobile chicane that is MS, although it must be scary to try and pass him ... I'd do it near where the medics are located.

I think his racecraft is actually one of the poorest out of all the 'top tier' F1 drivers, with Vettel being the exception. It just seems like they make poor decisions which affect their overall standing in the championship. Webber and Jenson (arguably the slower drivers on both of their teams) have shown the value of experience this year, I think.

His race pace is probably the best in F1.
His qualifying is one of the best (but I think Vettel is faster).

Button has made you eat your words time and time again give it up, you wouldn't recognize the genuine article if it hit you in the face.

If Raikkonen was as good, Ferrari wouldn't have paid him millions of dollars to leave. Massa liked him as a teammate because he was more evenly matched and stood a chance to win/score points. But not any longer. Sorry. Hopefully Kimi will continue to improve at rallying and give you years of racing enjoyment.

Kimi: Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Alonso: Toxic in every way imaginable, the sooner he's gone the better.

Massa: Given the shaft by Megalo-Monty, hardly deserving of such indignity.

    Kubica: Should have replaced Schumacher.

    Ciao!

Thank you for asking; being a Ferrari supporter, I am delighted that Ferrari's number one driver is the best pilot on the grid today. By far.

I liked Kimi (good driver with poor luck), I also like the Finns that I have met. Great drivers, great people, and I particularly like the Finnish women!

P.S. I saw my first F1 race in 1969. There have been many more.

    That made my morning! Lol.

I have to admit Fernando is growing on me. I loathed him for many years but never because of driving skill. He just seems to be a little less of an a$$ this year. Maybe that is just my perception because he is driving for Ferrari but I think his attitude has changed a bit because he WANTS to drive for Ferrari. I never felt Kimi gave a crap about which car he was in. You can tell both Massa and FA want to be on this team.

    No to Alonso and Raikkonen.

I can not agree with you about Kimi being the best driver ever. Being the fastest is important only if you are doing it consistently. Kimi never seemed to focus except when some pressure was applied, he was very inconsistent.

I would go with Schumacher before I would even consider Raikkonen. I do not think putting every driver in a rally would prove anything. Possibly putting every driver in the same car would have a little more merit, but then how would you adjust for driving styles and preferences?

Haha......I had to laugh at your question!

Alonso haters will always be Alonso haters..............even if he went on to win more WCs for Ferrari than Schumey did, they would still find reasons to hate him.

Except that I wouldn't want to live in that "reality". Not for a day, not for a minute, not for a second.

I'm no fan of Schumacher anymore, but I can respect the man for his accomplishments. And I do appreciate him bringing the Scuderia back to form and to 5 WDCs.

nor do i, i needed a 'rolls eyes' emoticon there :) hmm...i happen to share similar sentiment towards Herr Shumacher. Don't really care for the dude, but at the same time, can't knock all that he's accomplished. I remember when he first made a dent in F1, thinkin' 'dang who's this dude, and i didn't see it coming...the Bennetton success' ...an aside, but i do vaguely remember the other dude that drove along side him, Herbert, is that right? i think that's the guy. don't know why it still stays with me after all these years, his stupid excuses as to why he was 1-2 SECONDS slower that MS. anyhoo...Ja wol!!!

I stand by what I said: if the circumstances are the car are OK, Button can be brilliant.

If things aren't at their best, he just gives up.

We saw it for many years at Renault, Williams and Honda were he drive without any conviction, and regularly blamed the cars.

Had it not be for Ross Brawn's clever interpretaion of the rules last year, giving the Brawn cars such an advantage, Button would never have won GP. He inherited technical superiority and make the most of it: Bravo! His second part of the season was lacklustre when the competition copied the Brawn diffuser.

This year, he has seized opportunity a couple of times, but generally lack competitivity. His great asset is being smooth, but he isn't motivated like Hamilton.

What is so exceptional with Kubica?

He hasn't exactly lifted Renault to success, has he?

Does he shine during qualifs? During races?
