I removed the passenger mat with no problem.

The drivers mat (the nice ones with the horse) are secured under the rail of the drivers seat. I suppose so the mat doesnt shift or move up in the way of the pedals.

Is it ok if I loosen the two allen wrench bolts on each seat rail to remove the mats??

    Thanks!!.. John.

they do walk up against the gas pedal resulting in high idle and lurching bowels. the seat bolt nuts are part of the floor pan. just loosen the bolts up and pull out the mat. i used velcro to stop mine from creeping up.

The mats on my 328 are secured with snaps located in front of the seat rails.

I willl loosen the bolts. I didn t want to find out that there is a nut that will fall off if I do so and then I'm in another bind.
