    Its still a UK registered car.....registered on one of the smaller islands which still allow black and silver plates as opposed to the mainland and northern ireland where you have to have a black on white front plate and black on yellow rear......all UK cars are Euro spec, all in the deal with being part of europe!

    It's not a Jersey or Guernsey registration .... just numbers on Guernsey plates, and Jersey plates are numbers prefixed with a J.

    It is an Irish registration plate. You are not meant to have black and white plates in this style anymore, but they can still be purchased and people do put them on cars. There are a few cars near me with old style plates (usually black sports cars) and I think the black plates look cooler!
