    trinity vs. millsap, this lateral play is just insane! i don't think it's quite as amazing as some of the plays i've seen, but i think this is in my top 5 college plays of all time

    I saw the end of that one this weekend on ESPN. GREAT!!!! The play actually lasts about 62 seconds. The funniest part is when the announcer says "It's a lateral" for the 15th time, and then "He scores on the lateral"..... Fun stuff.

    Regarding the thread title, I am not so sure. To me the Boise Sate Statue of Liberty thing last year was a better 'play'.
    But man, those defenders must have been tired at the end of the 18 lateral play this past weekend.

    i put in the note about d-3, boise state is d-1, if i'm not mistaken, and as of right now i rank the boise state game last year as one of the best ever.

    I saw this play, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Just shows that if you don't give up, that anything is possible. Where was the band in this play though? :D

    hahahaha! that's all i've been hearing today is people comparing it to the cal-stanford game, not quite as intense as that one was, and no controversy over whether or not one player's knee was down, or whether or not all laterals were legal, :) (which from my viewing were in the stanford-cal game, anyways, it would have been offsetting penalties and the td would have stood if they had of called it)

    It just made the "greatest plays" video countdown that's aired lately outdated, didn't it? Just a beautiful thing.

    As a special bonus, I have no doubt there's a whole buncha players, coaches, cheerleaders, fans, refs, waterboys etc. that got laid that night.
