Childhelp USA® is a national organization that exists to meet the physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs of abused and neglected children. They do so by focusing their efforts in the areas of treatment, prevention and research. Each year, Childhelp USA® provides help and hope to thousands of children and adults whose lives have been affected by child abuse. The organization is one of the largest and oldest national nonprofits dedicated to the treatment and prevention of child abuse and neglect. Childhelp USA® co-founders, Sara OMeara and Yvonne Fedderson, have recently been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Together with Zymol, Revtek by Rhino Sport, Sonoran Lifestyles and Premier Financial, Michael Sheehans Ferraris-online.com will help to celebrate the mystique of the Ferrari marque, but also help raise the spirits of some very special children. The Concorso Arizona brings a premier event to Scottsdales beautiful el Pedregal Festival Marketplace at the majestic Boulders Resort and Golden Door Spa. Our event expects to draw spectators as well as participants from Arizona, Southern California, Nevada and New Mexico. The el Pedregal Marketplace at Boulders Resort has picturesque rock formations and desert flora and fauna that will serve as an excellent backdrop to the cars. Over the past years we have had some very special cars grace the field that included a one of three 275 GTB/C Speciale, a very rare 250 TDF Zagato and a 1962 250 GTO. While Ferrari will be the dominate marque, all Italian car marques are invited to display at this event. The event will offer a private cocktail reception the night before, a judged concours, awards luncheon, as well as vendors and entertainment for all to enjoy. FCA Desert Region aims to build momentum towards the National Meet, starting with Concorso Arizona. Each year, the Ferrari National Meet is held in a different state and attracts tens of thousands of visitors from around the world and coast-to-coast. The Arizona Ferrari National Meet is slated for the year 2009. The Concorso has secured the services of CAR PR USA to bring sponsors, vendors and partnerships to the event. Cynthia Meitle of CAR PR USA is known best as the (wo)man behind the scenes who helped to spearhead Frank Mandaranos Concorso Italiano in the early 90s, held each August in Monterey, California during the most significant collector and exotic car week of the year.
