Isn't the MC and MC Stradale the same car, just with a different label in North America? If not, what are the differences?
Seats (it also has the back seats, while the Stradale removes them for weight), transmission (auto-F1, not the F1 SuperFast transmission) and I believe it is still heavier here. I do know that the Scottsdale Maserati dealer had a white one in the inventory, I saw it a few times. They also had a white one that they put bits and pieces of the MC Sport, like the front spoiler, and the side sills, and it had custom wheels. Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale has this one: http://www.dupontregistry.com/autos/Search/DRauSearchDetails.aspx?itemid=1108497 It says GT-MC and it says in the first line; This Matte Blu Mediterraneo Opaco over Nero Maserati Gran Turismo has the MC Sportline Package and is the first in the country of its kind!
Yup, agup48 knows his stuff. I will clarify one thing though. The US "MC" only comes with a traditional slushbox auto (not "auto-F1" as stated above). The "MC Stradale" comes with an automated manual (aka F1 Superfast 2) and that would really change the character of the car from Grand Tourer to Sports car IMHO. There is a thread on a euro MC Stradale (beautiful amazing car) in the maser section of F-chat with great pics...and a discussion of the differences between US and ROW models.
Pretty self explanatory where the Maser was. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Saw a tan Jaguar C-Type (I'm 95% sure) on McDowell and 68th St. around 2PM, coupled with the numerous Bentley's and Maserati's.
I have seen so many exotics lately...must be cause snowbirds are in town for the holiday season? Marcus is here prettying up the CS for Saturday...see you all there!
Wish I could make it, been home the last two weeks but now I have to leave tomorrow. Maybe next time. I need to take mine to Marcus, it needs it!
Nissan R34 GT-R V Spec II on University and S. Farmer Ave in the Baja Fresh/Boston's parking lot about 20-30 minutes ago! I made a great lunch decision! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A red 360 Spider on Scottsdale and Osborn at around 3:30. Also, if anyone hasn't seen a Carrera GT, Scottsdale Ferrari has one in their showroom, just saw it as I drove by!
http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/carsforsale/jaguar/c_type/1327414.html I assume it was this one since it's for sale in Scottsdale.
You can tell Barrett Jackson is in town. In the span of 60 seconds I saw a Maseratti Qport, a white 911 Turbo and a Bugatti Veyron. It was silver/white. Definitely not one that I have seen around town before. All of this was on Pima going south just before Thompson Peak. The Veyron looked good!
Between last night and today: Many exotics (Rolls-Royce, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Bentley, Aston-Martin etc.) Highlights include: Bugatti Veyron Grandsport Ford GT Heritage Edition Koenigsegg CCXR Edition Lexus LFA Ferrari Challenge Stradale McLaren MP4-12C Ferrari 458 Oakley Design ^I have camera photos of all.
2 were at dealers (LFA and CCXR Edition), and the 458 OD was covered, but I have photos of all (including the 458 uncovered from past sightings) and 2 of the Veyrons were at shows (the 2 coupes) but seeing the random MP4-12C and Grandsport were mind blowing! The McLaren was right next to another 458 (Not the OD). I can't wait to go spotting and attend all the auctions this coming weekend! I just realized that I forgot to mention the other to Veyrons (Rob and Craig) but they were at shows. There was also a Ford Mustang Cobra R and a Pontiac Solstice Coupe (I know it's a Pontiac but still very rare) at the Scottsdale Pavilions car show.
Arrowhead Lexus. I liked it, it doesn't scream supercar or how much it is, until you fire it up*! *Didn't get a chance to hear it though. Here's a shot I got of it: http://www.flickr.com/photos/agup627/6705294247/in/photostream Image Unavailable, Please Login
