    What we really need is a color LCD the same size as a license plate so that we can program it to display any state plate at the touch of a button (blue-tooth on a cell phone or dash button). Sort of a modern day James Bond rotating license plate.

    and as a side benefit, you could program it to say "Back off" and other sublime messages like "F#$% OFF" for those tailgaters we all love so much.


    Hmmmmm, the possabilities!

    wouldnt that be possible with an outdoor lcd screen, a carputer and some images of different plates?

    basically you're right. just somebody needs to work on prototype and solve technical issues, like programming, protecting lcd from weather and putting everything in small, user-friendly package. i heard there are ppl who are doing all the hard work for you and send production to Asia.
