    O.K.,
I had the alternator problem worked out. It is charging and I have a verified good battery. Now very intermittently I lose all power and the car shuts off when depressing the clutch and slowing for a stop. I have no other problems in shifting and the engine appears to be putting out the regular amount of power, no stumbles or stall-outs. Did I mention I get no CEL's at all and the car restarts if I let the clutch back out while still rolling or turn the ignition key. I have been through every connector and I have new solid battery cables. What drives me really crazy is it only happens once every three or four stops. Any ideas on where to start looking for the issue?

    Thanks,

    Mike

Hate to state the obvious, but did you "re-initialize" after the repair?

Oh yes! I "re-initialize" after everything, even stuff that does not require it! :D I just had a phone chat with Ernie, he has a few suggestions. One of those was vacuum lines and/or EGR valve. I will be checking all of those and just for good measure do another "re-initialize".
