Heard another Carrera GT met its demise! Is this true? Everybody okay?
I'm not too sure if it was Arwin's run. More like the other exotics run that was going on at the same time.
That really sucks! Hope the guy's alright. How'd they get a helicopter to follow them anyways? I'd like to see that footage. I saw the chopper over head and wondered what he was doing. I couldn't tell if it was a police chopper or not.
That CGT WAS NOT with us this morning on the Porsche Run. We had a great turnout but no CGT's and we were well North of 9W in NJ the entire time. Sorry that we didn't meet up with you guys at some point, but we had a great time and I'm glad that besides this unfortunate incident there weren't any "bad" stories to tell.

This is funny, I think this happend right by my house today, I was coming off of Sage Road which is right off 9W in Englewood Cliffs, and there was a big utility truck blocking the corner, and I didnt pay any mind to it and went around it. Later on I was going back onto 9W and the traffic light was on the ground and the picture posted looks so simillar to where the accident was. I will take pictures tomorrow morning. Plus I see a Carrera GT all the time on 9w Bet it was this guy. Sorry.
Hey guys, Fortunately, that was not from our run. It does pain me to see a CGT like that! Ouch! Looks like you guys had a great fun yourselves. Next time we have to coordinate runs so they don't fall on the same day!
I certainly dont wish an accident on anyone. Having personally been in a CGT I have to tell you--There should be some type of screening process for anyone that buys one. To make that car available to the public and the only thing you need is money. Thats insane. A 300-HP sports car has truly no business on a public street let alone a CGT. It doesnt take but a split second to end your life (or someone elses) and wreck that car. Just like that bo-bo that wrecked the Enzo a few months back going God knows how fast. I can only imagine the bill to repair this Porsche. Its hard enough driving it on the road with speed bumps, pot holes, uneven pavement. That car is very unforgiving with about a 2 inch (literally) ground clearance. Oh yeah, the front bumper costs more then most people's mortgage payment.
+1 Rob, Emil, Noahx2, David, and I saw a nasty accident happen about 3 feet in front of us yesterday.
John, I completely agree. They should def pass a law to screen people who want to drive these high performance cars. Too many nut jobs who buy these cars and then drive them in an unsafe manner.
Hey dude, I know...it's been a while. The last run I went with you guys was the one to Bear Mtn. THAT was an awesome run. We should definitely plan something with a smaller group before the white stuff falls.
that was a great run. We should def do another before and even when the snow starts falling Lambos, audis, porsches and crazy ferrari drivers invited.
