    So I was checking Artcurial to see if they had launched any Retromobile lots, they hadn't. But they had launched this

    I normally recognize something in a video that solves any question but god knows what SWB or Spider I am looking at. Anyone know?

    I understand French collectors choosing Artcurial but a Swede doesn't have the parochial need to choose French. I wonder what sort of deal the vendor has been offered to make it a better option than RM or Gooding or Bonhams? Regardless, will be fun to watch the sale!!!!!

    I thought 3169 was the car involved in a fatal accident near Nurnberg about 4 years ago, was grigio with red . Am I wrong?

    This is basically correct. The accident happened Sunday morning 23 June 2019 near Lauf an der Pegnitz in Germany. Sadly, the owner, aged 78, passed away later.
    The car was Blu Tigullio 1663 Fiat 639 (not grigio). It has been repaired and fully restored and is Blu Tigullio again. Interior is Rosso VM 3171. This was done by Quality Cars S.r.l. in Italy. The car has changed hands since the accident.

    I would just like to comment on this. When a collector chooses who should sell his collection what is most important is the connection between the collector and the Auctionhouse specialist. It is very often this personal relationship that decides who the collector decides to sell with. This gives trust. This is the case with the W collection sale.

    Remember though, every car is on sale at NO RESERVE. every car WILL find a new home after the sale...Estimates are only our rough guide. This applies to Cali Spider and SWB as well
