I go out for a short drive and CEL 5/8. Car sounds erratic and tach is pinging.
Pull codes and 1124(Purge valve) just keeps repeating, I quite pulling after about six times of getting this code and no others.
    Anyone familiar with this problem??
The car does need a major but decided to let next owner take where they wanted and priced it accordingly.
    Thanks!!

Your car is very p-o'ed at you for deciding to sell it. Have you been fooling around with a Porsche? You must make amends. You probably have a problem with the cold-start air valve. Sounds like it's faulty. Others may have a more definite idea, but that's where I'd start.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say it's for one of the evaporation valves coming off off the charcoal canister? That is the only thing I can think of in the engine bay that would need to be purged and have a connection to the Motronic ECU.

I tell you, Ferrari did a PISSPOOR job of writing these manuals.

Kel-J, what ended up being the issue with your car? Hopefully an easy fix?

Dont know, have a guy who wants to buy it and plans on taking care of the issues during major service.

Please let us know what the "purge valve" code ends up being for once it finally does get squared away.
