Hello all- I'm hoping that buy joining this forum I will be able find out some information about a car that our shop has. We currently have an ASA Ferrarina. She was once known as the little ferrari. We have very little information on her and the only book that we have is in Italian! If anyone has any information on this car or has a link to someone that has previously owned one or even knows where to get parts for this car we would be greatly apperciative. You can look us up on www.thecreativeworkshop.com any and all info is great! Thank you again!
Meant to compete with the Alfa Giulietta Sprint, Bizzarini designed, Ferrari engine, started as Ferrari 854 later known as the ASA 1000. Original car was used by Enzo himself as a personal driver. He decided not to produce the car, so the rights were sold and then known as an ASA. Later 1000cc car was known as Ferrarina Mille (ASA 1000).
ASA was started by some disgruntled Ferrari engineers that took the 1000 design and started their own company. ASA. I believe there was a ncie article in Forza or the Ferrari Club magazine a few years back. I believe it was Forza. You should be able to research this car and manufacturer through google. There is a company in Belgium that has one for sale. I would be interested at the right price as well. For personal use.
Whoa.....hold your pants there Martin.....There might be other "CASH" buyers out there......like myself....!!!! Can't we all just share?
I don't believe that the owner would like to sell his ASA but I'll be sure to find out in the future! Amy
